Higher P4P Monzon or Tunney

Who do you tend to rate higher as a fighter between Monzon and Tunney?

Both guys can get overlooked on p4p lists, but both also were great fighters tactically and physically, who left their careers while still on top

What do you think?

 

I personally rank Tunney higher based on his resume vs Monzon's title longevity.

Sometimes I wonder if it's even right to make up p4p or divisional rankings.

 

Tunney, and pretty clearly. He actually fought guys bigger than him to test his P4p credentials. The other did not.

 

Monzon.

Not afraid to fight people of color.

 

I think the far bigger problem with Tunney is his big wins over Greb, Gibbons and Dempsey all came when his opponents were significantly diminished.

 

I rate longevity highly so I'll vote for Monzon, narrowly.
