Campbell hasn't the heat in his heart for that. He is far more concerned about touching gloves at the start of every round.

 

Don't sleep on Campbell in this one.. I think he'll pose some stylistic difficulty.. quick, tall, rangy southpaw who moves around the ring well.. piston like left hand.. Lomas hunger might be fading a little now & he's also picking up injuries.. don't be surprised if Campbell makes it interesting.. just saying.. & im a huge Loma fan..

& don't sleep on the undercard Charlie Edwards fight either.. he's fighting Aguilar who recently took Andrew selbys 0! Could be a corker

I've consulted the charts and I see Loma ending it in 5.

 

I see this being similar to Pedraza, Loma will win but not easily. Campbell is a good boxer and the reach advantage is pretty ridiculous.

 

Campbell definitely has the tools to replicate what Pedraza did. However, when Pedraza did switch to southpaw, his reach wasn't as disruptive to Loma. In the Orthodox stance, Pedraza mostly stood toe to toe with Loma. This forced Loma to work around that lead leg while Pedraza was able to use his reach advantage to it's actual potential. (This is what Spence did with Mikey. He had his lead leg right in front of Mikeys, so Spence could touch Mikey, but Mikey had to either reach or step around that lead leg)

And Pedraza used a lot of head movement, switched levels and utilized side to side movement. Campbell moves in more predictable lines and rarely moves that head, unless defending a punch. And his main line of defense is that high guard, something we know Loma can deal with exceptionally well(Crolla, Rigondeaux, Sosa, Koasicha ect; they all covered up and Loma toyed with them).

True, Pedraza has a more cute style than Campbell but Campbell is also just a better boxer IMO, he's basic but he does basics well and when you're physically bigger than your opponent - it can go far. I think this could be the hardest fight for Loma yet, not on paper but stylistically.

 

I see it as the opposite, I think Campbell is a perfect style match-up for Loma. In my eyes, Campbell's style negates his physical attributes in this fight.
I am looking forward to seeing what Campbell's gameplan is. They clearly need a different approach than what they usually employ.

Think people are underrating Campbell a bit.

 

Footwork wins this for Loma, Campbell's orthodoxy will be his undoing, Loma looking to put on a show in the UK imo.
Expect a massive anti-climax as the levels become apparent.
