A few years ago I picked Kovalev.

Right now I pick Golovkin.

I think GGG has aged better and is the more consistent fighter. Kovalev is similar to Golovkin in many ways including his range-and-jab based fightplan, so it would in no way be easy. But Golovkin's footwork is such that he will be able to keep it at the distance he wants and he is defensively better in terms of slipping and covering up. He's also aware of Kovalev's softness to the body and he has the better stamina. I expect a torrid first 4-5 rounds for GGG but down the stretch he will get the measure of this older Sergey and batter him.

We pick Canelo over Kovalev because we know he will use weight games to **** Sergey up the ass and that his custom judges will save him even if it should go the distance. Right now I think GGG might be able to beat Kova fair and square.

Golovkin won both fights against Canelo, but “GGG” was way overrated and overhyped.

Canelo doesn’t get credit for anything. If all fighters would have the same mentality as him (fight against the best) boxing would be much popular.

I’ve always thought GGG matches up well against Kovalev, just the obvious size discrepancy.
