However if Joshua had caught Wilder with the punch that AJ caught Ruiz with before then, the point would be moot because the return shots would have never happened.... and a BIG difference between the two of course is that Ruiz actually accepted an offer.

because the return Shoots would have sent Joshua Spirit back to Aruba

We seen Wilder dropped & he got up to destroy the adversaries...The only time Wilder surrenders is in the fantasy of the subjugated peasants/citizens

Anthony Joshua surrendered on the ropes....as he helplessly watched the Curvy Snickers Model munch on his legacy....

So what you're saying is, if AJ hadn't tried to blow him out, he would've blown him out?

Yeah that's what he's saying, AJ also said himself - Ruiz wasn't ready to be taken out yet, he needed to be cooked more.

So AJ should have just powdered and peppered, and marinated Ruiz on a skewer before digging into the Mexican enchilada.

That assumes a lot, most notably that Joshua actually had the ability do this.

Is the argument here seriously that aj only lost because he tried to win?

If Joshua would have won easily then why didn't he? if you are going to beat a fighter with ease, then surely this should happen, regardless of any scenario? It didn't happen.

what about the shots AJ was catching in the firsts two rounds? Guess they don't count. Saying AJ only lost because of that one punch is wishful thinking, AJ himself is using that as a confidence builder by the sounds of it, which is a mistake as he will be facing those quick combinations again. If he doesn't adjust to that and thinks all he has to do is "marinate" Ruiz, he is in trouble. When Ruiz attacked, Joshua was in trouble, from start to finish, the signs where there in rounds one and two if you are willing to look....

Ruiz was never going to be ready to be taken out, he has a decent chin. The only fighter getting cooked and served up was AJ, and its likely to be the same scenario again, unless Ruiz screws himself by being unprepared.

What's don't you understand? AJ going all out for the kill right after Ruiz got up is what gave Ruiz the opportunity to land that left hook. Am I wrong?
