I hope to get some interesting insight on how people think this fight would go. Joshua pretty much is the modern heavyweight big, incredibly strong, some good boxing skills. Louis was fast, highly skilled, no stamina problems and did fight, and beat a few boxers the size of modern heavyweights, would not say they were anywhere like the same calibre as today, but it is always a fight I would like to see play out. I would personally like to see Louis win, because even though he is a great heavyweight I see him being looked at as the underdog here. I do see the fight being more competitive than a lot of people might think.
Hard to call as Louis had slow feet, and a low guard limited type of defense with just an okay chin. He never fought anyone like Joshua. Joshua could very well blitz him, I think we have seen Joshuas best. Best guess Louis via TKO, as Joshua has too many holes in his game and takes his foot off the gas in the later rounds.
At this time Joshua is tailormade for Louis. However, to be fair Joshua is still very green with only 23 fights and less than 100 rounds under his belt and still has a lot of room to grow as a fighter.

With respect, Jackomano, I had the same thought, Louis destroys what he can hit - it isn't the big guys that trouble him, the cute, fast, agile, mobile boxers do. Now I'm not saying AJ is ever going to an easy evening for any fighter - ever, but his type and style plays to the older boxers demonstrated strengths - as you also said - at this point! Louis had more title defenses than AJ has had fights - yet... lets see if we find a better more experienced Prime AJ in a few more fights. As I recall a painful loss on the way up did some good for Louis...

Louis was on average larger than his opponents, with Joshua he has no such advantage, but Joshua is a crude, limited plodder who got undeserved Gold medal in the Olympics and doesnt have Joe Louis pedigree, Joshua gets KO’d, he definitely is no Max Schmeling or Rocky Marciano thats for sure.
