Let’s be honest he went in the WBSS because Hearn weren’t doing a great job with him. Hearn wants him to have another two warm up fights before a big fight in the summer. Callum wants a big fight NOW. I don’t see any problem with that...

Smith went into the WBSS because the contract Hearn likely negotiated netted him close to £2.5 million for the first two fights,

Hearn had lined up Dirrell mandatory or Degale title fight for him. Smith’s team pushed for the WBSS.

Yes, I agree but Smith was contracted to Matchroom, without Hearns blessing he would not have been able to participate.

Callum has nowhere else to go in reality - he just wants Hearn to cough up more dough.

PBC / Arum would not want him for anything else other than to be an opponent.

It’s really baffling to me, why Callum didn’t take Warren’s 1m guarantee plus 50% of the PPV for Saunders or at least ask hearn to match it and have the fight on Sky.

Boxers are not 'normal' people. Maybe his mrs gets really stressed with fights or they had issues in the past. Its not like he was skint so if i was in his shoes i'd do the same and enjoy a time you'll never get back as much as possible. Life is not all about money...especially if you already have millions!

Another fighter learning that being good doesn't make you box office alone.

Noone is just entitled to massive pay days - they have to bring in sufficient revenue to warrant earning it.

Think Callum being unhappy is all hot air. I expect mandatories twice a year against sub par opponents while Joe Gallagher, his mouth piece sporadically mentions Canelo and GGG

There are some good fights out there for him and I think he needs to open up about how Hearn seems to treating him or not, it reminds me of Brooks treatment by Hearn.

Smith is overrated and his best win was against a shot groves, personally I don’t think groves was doing to badly either!

He’s basically a “height bully” who, rightly, uses his height advantage, he’s really a light heavy but if he makes the weight good luck to him.

No one knows or cares who smith is and he’s over valuing himself for fights, have joe G as manager won’t help, neither does any association with his brother Paul...
