He did better than many Mayweather opponents because he fought the oldest and most deteriorated version who was actually coming forward on him behind a high guard instead of doing his usual pot shotting. Fact is... a larger, younger top tier mma fighter in his prime got walked down and stopped by a smaller retired light punching mayweather who hadnt stopped someone legitimately in a decade. But ay I guess mma should take the moral victories where they can. McG won some rounds... yay.
