At only 24 years old, Hughie fury is fighting an Olympic gold medalist and former world champion in Povetkin while his cousin is fighting Tintin. He's already fought for a world title vs Parker, and a #1 eliminator against Pulev away from home with a massive cut over his eye before the fight began. I've never been a fan of his slick mover/runner style, but you have to take your hat off to Hughie Fury, hes a young man who will fight anyone win lose or draw and has bigger balls than the majority of the heavyweight division.
Tyson Fury is a terrible coward. Which is fine if he didn't keep ripping other people for fighting bums. Fury attacks others for fighting bums but he himself is the worst bum-feaster I've ever seen in the HW division. His record is terrible.
I have to agree. I can't say a bad thing about the choices he has made with opponent selection. A man is defined by his choices. Tyson by definition is a bum. Wise men say you are only as good as your last success, but I'm generous, let's make it the last five successes... and Tyson still fought four bums. Bum carousel. That's bumgusting.
ill just say this, when a young kid like Hughie Fury is putting it all on the line, willing to take the risks, win/lose or draw, taking fights in dodgy foreign countries with stitches on his face, and fighting far better opposition than 2 of the supposed 'big 3', it just makes them look like plain old fools when all Wilder and T.Fury ever seem to do is criticize other fighters while they only ever take safety first no risk easy fights against obscure opponents. The idea that either of these clowns and the word 'champion' is mentioned in the same sentence is an abomination to the sport of boxing. They are circus acts, the pair of them. Hughie Fury may not be the best yet. But he is still young, hungry, and has the heart of a champion.
Yes of course big respect to Hughie. I have to admit I won’t be watching the fight because of him though. Hughie is really showing up most of these A level heavyweights that are going from easy fight to easy fight throughout their career. A level fighters like Tyson/Wilder and their fans should feel humiliated. I wish their fans would start calling out Wilder/Tyson on social media for their easy choice of opponents and stop enabling them.
There's a recent interview with Povetkin in the UK with basically confirms his team chose Hughie over Tyson. He says he would fight Tyson but it was his promoter who decided on this fight. Therefore it also tends to confirm Tyson's story that Povetkin was offered the fight. So the narrative of Tyson avoiding Povetkin and being more cowardly than Hughie doesn't really work now.
Exactly, Tyson's team offered to fight Povetkin, Pulev and some others, before picking Wallin, because the others refused. Hughie definitely deserves respect for taking the big fights without hesitation, not playing around.
News at 10. Internet keyboard warrior calls man who went in with the hardest puncher in boxing after 3 years out, a coward.
Tyson FUry's team probably offered Povetkin pennies, thats why he turned it down..... and thats why Otto Wallin took it... not that hard to figure out... team Fury are gypsy cheapskates
