Wow, a lot to unpack here. Look regardless of Edwards theatrics and wether you believe him or how badly he was hurt before, by the letter of the law that is an illegal blow. There is genuinely no other way of looking at it, he was hurt took the knee (lets bear in mind he probably won the first two rounds) then got hit whilst he was down well after he took the knee. That said its a quite hypocritical for Hearn to be outraged when you need both hands to count the amount of time his fighters have done the same in the same position (i.e. Joshua, early in his career, and Fowler). Also it doesn't sit quite right with me that the WBC president can make that ruling in the ring minutes after the fight, with thousands booing (quite rightly IMO) without some sort of independent review in the cold light of day. Look a No Decision is probably the right thing to happen, i’m just not happy with how they got there.

Whether that shot was illegal, surely to christ there needs to be a "procedure" (eddie is very keen on following procedures). Not your man grabbing the Mike and randomly amending it? Seems complete bollocks to do it that way.
Personally i had Edwards winning, largely your right it was pot shot counter but a lot of what Martines threw was hitting the gloves
I'm pretty sure they can only reverse the result, if their is a legitimate error, like a price being 100/1 at some point when it really should be 1/100 on. The result was a declared a KO/TKO win officially before WBC President appeared, so that's what should stand, as your bet was settled on that basis.
