How does being a tad more muscular or lean help you with your stamina, reflexes, speed, conditioning.

    Its boxing not bodybuilding.

It helps quite a bit actually. You obviously don't have any understanding of human physiology.

Oh ye cos I'm guessing you're a renowned figure in human biology & physiology

Everyone's a ****ing expert at everything online LOL

Different strokes for different folks in this sport mate.. look at Fury & Toney.. they wobble lol but still flow beautifully in a ring..

Kovalevs physique pretty much looked like it always did .. but he's not up on his toes so much now & lacks the snap he used to have.. which is natural at 36.. your punch resistance fades also.. six pack or no six pack

Prime Kovalev doesn't lose to Alvarez or nearly get KOed by Yarde. He is still a good boxer and his turnaround after round 8 against Yarde was impressive but he isn't the fighter he was.

Getting his titles stolen through corruption probably caused a lot of mental anguish and he is getting on in age.

I'd like to see him fight the yellow Chicken but not if they boil him down to an unsafe weight.

This reminds me when aging Wlad struggled with Jennings and people started saying that Wlad is still good, but Jennings is a super duper boxer, who neutralized Klitschko and would become a top boxer soon.

I've trained for aesthetics and I've trained for strength. They are not the same thing.

I just think you wouldn't be making these excuses if Kovalev wasn't being talked about for a fight with Canelo.. You're already trying to diminish a potential Canelo victory
