    Campbell is by no means a bum. He is a very good fighter. Loma is special.

    It was a competitive fight. Cambell was landing good body shots, but was occasionally getting countered with the left to the head when he threw the right to Lomas body. Much closer than the judges.

    I disagree. I don't think Crawford is that much better than Campbell, Crawford is smaller than Campbell, and Campbell is tougher stylistically than Crawford. I think it would look similar to this fight, but it would obviously be massive for his legacy.

    When they talk about a fighter going back DOWN in divisions as his career progresses, you know he's fighting above his ideal weight. Loma just shut out a big LW too....

    Southpaw vs. Southpaw is always an awkward matchup, then when you add in a guy who's heavy handed, a good sharp counter puncher and has the height and reach advantage. All those things considered, Loma did brilliantly. Most fighters would struggle FAR more than he did tonight if they were facing those obstacles.

    well, whe you throw a jab and are countered by a straight (not over hand, no, completely straight hand) in the middle of the punch, it means you are TRASH. That's the truth, the trayectory of his punches leave him wide open, he cant even punch properly. I wont admit by any mean that this guy is a top fighter.

    We can agree to disagree though. No problem with that.

    Loma wins going away. Most of Campbells punches were blocked or hit air. Not a mark on Loma.

    The fight should have been stopped in the 7th I believe when Campbell turned his back in the corner and essentially quit with 20 seconds left.

    A lot of BS from the Brit ref tonite.

    Went exactly how I thought it would.. Love this sport..

    Nah Crawford has about 25lbs on Loma on fight night and 8.5lbs in reach. If they were the same size Loma would school him but that's just too big a weight and reach gap to bridge, especially given the amount of wear and tear on Loma what with his extremely extensive amateur career,.

    Enjoying all the backhanded compliments and thinly veiled criticism coming from the anti-Loma contingent. The moment Campbell went down and the last glimmer of hope went with him it started up, you could set your watch by it. :D
