When Loma has his way with a smaller guy they claim size doesn't matter, but when he has to work a bit to handle a mediocre opponent his size, oh, Loma's a natural featherweight, he's to small. I don't think Lomachenko is at his best at 135. He doesn't have the frame for it. He's a master technician for sure but he's not overly powerful or long limbed. I think he enjoys the challenge of fighting at 135 but it's clear it's not the best division for him.
Loma is what he is - A 3 weight champion in 15 fights - beaten 5 world class fighters (Russell, Campbell, Linares, Rigo and Walters). - one belt away from unifying the divison. I can't see any of Commey, Lopez, Hainey, Easter, Farmer or Tank giving Loma a real challenge. I think Loma would have to step up to fight the winner of Progais & Taylor to get a real challenge and become a 4 weight challenger in the process. Although I dont think Loma has the frame to move up weight any further. I can't believe people are comparing Broner to Broner to Loma.
