Loma is fighting at least one weight class above his natural weight. He’s a tiny guy and is beating bigger, skilled guys in ways that separate him from every other fighter in the game.

Haters are still grasping at the Salido straws. That was his second pro fight and Loma has improved with each fight. The Loma of today would destroy the best version Salido with ease. Of course if the ref allows low blows and dirty boxing, anything is possible. At that point it’s just not boxing. Under boxing rules, Loma is a rare talent. Just enjoy it while he’s still prime. Guys like this don’t come around very often.

You asked who were they fighting in their 15th pro fights etc. They were teenagers fighting for breadcrumbs to feed their families because they couldn’t afford to go to the olympics. Pro was the only choice to make monies

But you said Lomachenkos resume was not as deep as said fighters, I agree but they had longevity on their side over years.

With Lomachenko having a long amazing amateur career he’s obviously not got 20 years in the game to go by so he’s jumped into the deep end and therefore my point still counts what he’s done in 15 fights is unheard of.....you show me a guy....any guy who has done so much in such little time at 9st upwards to the heavyweights even.

You complain his resume isn’t “deep” against guys with 50 fights yet complain when I bring up that his resume is very deep for a guy with 15 fights.

Loma would eat a pressure fighter alive with his footwork.

His very first professional fight and he boxes the ears of Orlando Salido (60 fights under his belt) it's just surreal. He ate about 15 shots to the nuts and still won a pretty east 7-5 or 8-4 type of fight. If that was 2019 Loma in there Salido wouldn't see the 5th round and loses an eyeball.

Anyways you'll all get your wish. I think Oscar is going to have to cash out Berchelt soon. Fight could be at 130 or 135lbs. You'll have your Mexican pressure fighter in there - one who's so much fresher and more powerful than Salido was.

118-110 type of fight if we're lucky.

P4P isn't an official ranking. It's an opinion.

You want to have someone else at #1 spot, have at it.

Everyone who's on a P4P list is going to have some questions to answer, unless they've been around the block for years, by which time they're probably badly faded.

I just don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about an imaginary list based on unquantifiable criteria. It doesn't mean anything.

Trouble is a fighter like Loma would completely shut down a good swarmer and make them look average or passive. Which would lead people to bummify them and give Loma no credit for answering their question. Loma's in that position where anyone he fights will get shat on by some people because they're not interested in him proving himself, but in proving themselves right about him. It basically means he's the man right now.

    So what???

You are picking different avenues to try to get your agenda across, hed also lost 6 or 7 times as well.

I don’t see what you are trying to prove other than we get it you are not a fan of Loma.
