Found a clip of Eddie Hearn looking a bit younger and translating Charlie's thoughts. This content is protected
Had £20 on Aguilar to win by ko on Skybet at 7/2! At first sky acknowledged the bet as a win & then it sat in the unsettled bets for a while & then they paid out so happy days! I agree that Edwards entrance was beyond embarrassing & was glad that he got hammered, iirc Aguilar hit him about 10 times in a row with just his left hand.No way does the blond gimp take the rematch as that would be suicidal & vacates & moves up!
Cheers mate, yeah he was 3-1 just to win outright & 20-1 with Paddy Power to win on points.I had that bet as well & PP voided it & returned my £5 stake!
Charlie Edwards, first time I’ve seen him fight and tbh I’ve never took him on........why the hate for him on here?
Obviously it wasnt, but if what happened last night was a unification. What authority would MS have to do what he did?
I dunno if it's hate OB - he's a bit unusual and the rolling around as if shot, was too much. He'd taken a barrage of punches that knocked him for six before the low blow.
I think Edwards is a huge peen arse but this rolling around stuff.. Do people think he did so to try and get the DQ? Thats some long shot as what happened last night was unprecedented.. At least in the UK And that was a hell of a body shot that would have floored 99 per cent of fighters in or around that weigh category My final thoughts Still a peen arse but one that was getting up (only to get stopped shortly after)
Did the WBC have any right to call that a no contest? I know they can consider a winner of a contest to not be their belt holder, but the governing body was the BBOC? Sulaiman comes steamrolling in and calls it a no contest? What's going on?
I agree I think he would almost certainly have got up from the knockdown, he would have done well to see out the end of the 3rd, he definitely would not have survived the 4th, it was completely idiotic by Martinez because if Sulaiman was not in the ring Hearn and Edwards would have lodged an appeal and the fight would have ended up a no contest anyway no arguments as far as I’m concerned, it would have just taken a few weeks or so to get done.
After Eddie crying about procedures and Dillian Whyte. Seems highly unlikely that was official protocol.
That can't be legal. BBOC confirm the result, Sulamain goes to them and whinges then gets in the ring to call no contest?
