ive had enough of his crap, hes worse than useless!!! never will i support him again, thats it im done, ****ing idiot!
made a thread a few weeks back saying he would win late on, lol. also made another thread saying he is very slender. Hughie might be the weakest Heavyweight ive ever seen.
I don't like Hughie either and don't think he's very good. I was completely sick of hearing "He's better than his cousin Tyson!!" from his family when he obviously wasn't. But it is worth remembering he's quite young, he's only lost to some fairly big names, and he was younger still when he lost to those big names -- Povetkin aside. I'm pretty sure he has extremely little amateur experience as well. So compare him to other big prospects like Hrgovic and Ajagba. They're highly touted prospects, but they're older than Hughie and still facing complete bums. Would they have been able to handle Pulev and Parker years ago? I don't think so. I still doubt Hughie will amount to anything honestly, but it's a hell of a lot more possible for him than it is for someone like David Price.
I think his fraud trainer is one of the problems. Hughie clearly has some high level attributes, like chin, movement, defensive skills, courage, training focus. He's gone the distance with Pulev and Povetkin, two gold medallists, engaging quite a bit, you can't do that being truly rubbish, come on. His father is a con man though and fed him a load of bull**** too. If you put Hughie with a different trainer, maybe they could develop him better, particularly the punching/offensive aspect. Maybe taking him down to cruiser.
Lol this needed to be said didn't it?I've likened him to the heavyweight division's version of Broner in that he's not scared of taking on good opposition but just like Broner, folk forget how bad he is and each and every time he's gonna disappoint just like Broner does. I knew in the first two rounds what we was gonna get as it looks to me like he's shadow boxing or something as he's not even touching his opponent with anything lol. Lol don't wanna blow my own trumpet but I will anyway.I posted the other day that this old Povetkin is still levels above and I jokingly mentioned it wouldn't surprise me if he gets cut "again" over the eye,low and behold he gets cut again. I think we can honestly say that Hughie Fury could have another five fights and every one would be a carbon copy of his others. PS Only just found out that he left school at eleven years old to pursue a career in boxing.Poor lad is so thick he's unable to think in and out of the ring.
i could train hughie better than peter, peter is making sure hughie doesnt get stopped, rather than winning fights! hes not doing the best for his son!
You get the impression that he's so thick and vulnerable to someone like that.Povetkin from a career decision after his earlier losses was a terrible move as his chances were so low and yet he took the fight.I'll bet he's being had off with his earnings?
Maybe he doesn't want his dear son to get hurt. So he advises him to defend himself and not take any risks.
