Donaire has only been stopped once in his career that was at 126 by Nicholas Walters. 126 two divisions higher than what he fighting inoue.

Also the majority of Donaires losses came from fighting at 122 -126 his knockout power also decreased a bit while he was up there he lost once at 115 a decision loss on his second pro fight

So with from I gathered and correct me if I'm wrong on this. If inoue were to stop donaire it would be a really impressive feature to stop a man that's never been stopped at 118 .
And has only been stopped by a bigger man in Nicholas Walters

And if it comes to inoue not stopping donaire. Can he win a decision over the more experienced fighter

I’m a fan of both fighters but Nonito is a shell of his former self. Still a good scalp for Inoue but not a huge deal. I’m a fan of Inoue and will definitely watch this one. It will not go 12 rounds, that’s for sure. Nonito needs to hang it up after this one because he’s going to take some punishment.

    Walters had 5lbs on Nonito

    Donaire: 133
    Walters 138

Nonito weighed the same at 126 for the Vic D rematch as Inoue did for McDonnell at 118

    Donaire: 131
    Darchinyan: 133

2lbs less at 122 against Arce than Inoue did at 118 against McDonnell

    Donaire: 129
    Arce: 135

1lb more against Mathebula at 122 than Inoue did at 118 against McDonnell

    Donaire: 132
    Mathebula: 136

5lbs less against Montiel at 118 than Inoue did against McDonnell at 118

    Donaire: 126
    Montiel: 134

    Inoe 131 - McDonnell 144

So size wise there's nothing in it between Inoue and Nonito

Granted Nonito is way past his best now. However, he's still got that huge power so if he catches Inoue flush it'll be interesting to see how he holds up to it because that power ain't no joke.

And Frampton couldn't stop Nonito a year and a half ago and he can crack (Nonito even praised his power IIRC)

Donaire had flubber / love handles vs Walters.

Donaire won't put on a funny face vs Inoue & flop around the ring like a fish out of water. I want to see how Inoue takes that Philippino lightning of a left hook.

Inoue knocks Nonito's receding hairline back 3-5 inches and then bangs Rachel in Team Donaire's dressing room after.

These 2 might have the two best left hooks in the game. Little guys with KO power is always a good watch. Prime for prime it would be close. But who knows if Nonito has enough speed left to keep it tight. Can't wait.

Nonito still has some gas in the tank and still has that lethal left hook. Wish the young man who put Darchinyan to sleep in their first meeting was still around. The wicked left hook that ended the first fight was a thing of beauty. Darchinyan was talking lots of trash before the fight and broke Nonito’s brother’s jaw, which made for some bad blood.

Nonito has a lot of miles on him since that fight. He KOd Darchinyan again when they met for a second time but both fighters were far from prime in their second meeting. That was a long time ago. Still this will be a good fight. I like both guys and hate to see either lose.

Your post is quite prescient. Heres a stat for you: Inoue has KOd his last 7 opponents and while that is pretty impressive, you wanna know whats REALLY IMPRESSIVE? Whats really impressive is he has knocked out 7 guys in a row who have NEVER BEEN KNOCKED OUT. That is a mind boggling stat.
