Yeah, Parker's just a bit too uninventive in the ring, which I suspect is the reason for his lack of stoppages at top level. Fighters can read what he's going to do and prepare for it. Even lower level guys like Cojanu were able to take his best shots for twelve rounds because he just did the same things over and over again. Chisora will probably make Parker hit gloves and air for the first few rounds before Parker's superior fitness allows him to take the later rounds. It's a fight to make Parker look bad, I think, even though he should be dominating guys like this at this stage of their careers.

Parker isn't really a slick boxer. He's very strong but moderately skilled. As such, he struggles with guys he can't bully - and he can't bully Chisora. This should be a very competitive fight, for as long as it lasts. He might stop Chisora late, if Chisora gasses. But for at least 7-8 rounds it should be a proper war.

Well each to their own, I believe the stars aligned for that shot, 256LB Whyte pushing the pace for 12 rounds... got tired, got sloppy.

    But it's history now.

    Dont be daft
He threw a punch and it connected and hurt Whyte
Not lucky at all although admittedly Whyte was knackered and that helped

Where next for Del if he pulls this off?

Just saying... people throw punches and connect all the time... doesn't mean they meant it...

Anyways - Del would be right up there for a title shot I reckon, think AJ would throw him a bone.

Chisora nor Parker have much to trouble Wilder imo.

The blueprint to beating Wilder is a versatile counter puncher like Dillian Whyte. Someone strong with the whiskers, and able to return fire to the body and to the head.

Parker and Chisora dont carry as much power as Whyte, nor do they go to the body, nor are they counter punchers. They are offensive punchers by nature.
