I think he is going to retire undefeated. Tony Ferguson is overrated .

Nobody, he has to move up to get any challenge.

The 170 guys are too big for him. He would beat guys like Masvidal or Askren but not Usman.

He’ll get a knee to the face eventually, these wrestlers are getting slept one by one.

    Gleison Tibau already beat him.

I personally believe TFerg can stop him in a 5 rd fight eventually.

Even when taken down Tony will force Khabib to work endlessly and bombard him with elbows and mad scrambles so Khabib had better work on his cardio game or he may find himself drowning in the deep end later in the fight.

At lightweight, there's only Ferguson I'd give a chance but Khabib would still be strong favourite.

He wouldn't beat Colby or Usman at 170 but I think he'd still do well in that division.

Dustin poses some interesting question in the cage. Ferguson is the front runner, but his age and history of injuries are a worry for me. Justin Gaethje is a D1 All American with vicious leg kicks and knockout power in both mitts. If Gathje beats Cowboy I'd love to see him and Khabib square off.

I hope Poirier can get it done tommorow but i've always felt Tony Fergerson could be the 1st guy to beat Khabib if he gets the chance to fight him

He and Poirier have both beaten a better level opposition then Khabib has so i'd be interested hearing why you or anybody would say he is overrated?
Fergerson in particular has beaten high quality opposition repeatedly for the last 4+ years, that few fighters in the sport in any weight division have been able to match and looked amazing doing so,winning an interim UFC title and performance bonuses in his last 8 fights

Yeah I agree I have watched that Tibau fight quite a few times and those final official scorecards were a disgrace not even giving Tibau a round.
I had Tibau winning 29-28 and at worst you could just score Khabib the winner 29-28,a lot of the media scores for the fight were actually the opposite to the official scorecards with most of them having it for Tibau 30-27 or 30-28 with only 1 person scoring it for Khabib

Who else is there besides Ferguson?
Khabib wears everyone down. At least Toney won't fade as fast as the rest.
And Toney does throw crazy combos, something Khabib hasn't really dealt with.

If he stays disciplined, minimal striking and mostly wrestling, he probably won't lose at lightweight. He does have a hard weight cut though, and I think that makes it dangerous for him to stand up and strike for too long. These guys are so worried about the shot, that they aren't letting their hands go, and setting their punches up properly. At welter, the guys are a bit bigger, and I don't see him having the same success.

It has to be Tony next but if not him then at a big push, Cowboy, he's maybe the only other guy in the top 10 that is worth fighting and tbh it's probably only good for money and Cerrones name on your record. Coming off a loss to Ferguson though...

Fight Tony next, if the fight can finally be made. If he wins move up and give him a top 3 at least. I definitely wouldn't overlook Ferguson though.
