It sounds as though It sounds as though your not fully understanding the word "fighter" We are not discussing the dictionary term. This is a label we use to describe someone who is very comfortable and never nervy in any fight situation. A.j whilst been a great athlete who can box isn't what we would term a fighter. A.j exhibits nerves at times and so did klitchko. Some people who box never get overawed, no matter how much they are been beat up, they have it in them to fight back no matter what the odds are against them. A j is not that type. There's nothing wrong with that, many a man has won world titles without that particular trait, which is called heart. You might say, but he showed heart against klitchko and in a sense you would be correct but A.js heart has a limit and it would of been his mind talking to him, telling him to fight on, "It ain't that bad yet" he would of said to himself. Someone who has heart doesn't have his mind talking him through it. He has a desire to fight to the end. That's the difference. Like I said there's nothing wrong with not having that trait, a lot don't have it. I know I havnt.
How do you know what fighters he idolises since you have only been on here a wee or so? Admin when is this **** going to stop?
So if i watch a movie and thinks its absolutely crap, due to me not ever having directed before am i not allowed to say so? Far too many posters with this way of thinking recently Its a boxing forum based on the net, we give our opinions as fans Many here have boxed before also just not at such a level How about Colin Hart or Gareth Davies? Well paid journalists who regularly criticise talent?
No you can criticise the film and say you don’t like it all you want, but it would be stupid for a film fan who has absolutely no directorial experience to say the director of the film isn’t a proper director.... movie directors with real experience could make that critique without it being hypocritical
You don’t need to have actually done something to have an understanding of how it works. There are millions of examples of this in all walks of life. However, to just give you a very basic sporting one....Daniel Anderson, one of St.Helens’ greatest ever coaches, won everything with us, coached Paramatta, New Zealand Warriors, New Zealand National team, he’s won pretty much everything you can win in rugby league....never played the game even at a amateur level. He worked his way up from teaching young kids how to play rugby. I’ll presume you’ve never stood on stage and told jokes, but I bet you can watch a comedian in a club and point out the things they lack, what they’re doing wrong etc. Ever eaten at a restaurant and offered an opinion on the food they’ve brought to the table? Why not, I presume you haven’t cooked professionally before, who are you to say he’s over cooked the steak? You can watch a boxer several times and tell the things he does well and the things he doesn’t do so well. It’s a ****ing boxing forum, this is where we discuss that as fans and it makes absolutely no sense to me at all for someone to tell me I can’t possibly know what i’m talking about because I haven’t professionally punched someone in the face ffs.
Ive said it before and will say it again, it all came too early for Josh. He should have built his career more and ideally should have started challenging for things about 12-18mths ago, now he finds himself trying to rebuild which if I am honest I can only see him losing to Ruiz again, he went ultra cautious after the Wlad fight, how will he be facing the same man who handed him his asre with relative ease.
Come on fella, we all know what twenty is getting at such a shame you cant grasp it. A quick question for you though, is Joshua a Boxer or a fighter??
Jesus Christ how much spare time do you have.... read my posts again and if you still don’t understand me, ask your mum, like you would if you were stuck on your homework
Have you been on this forum before? Half the people on here question the heart of a fighter on here on a regular basis.... I’ll say it one more time.... someone said something along the lines of “Joshua is an athlete not a fighter” I’m saying that’s a stupid thing for someone who’s never fought before to say about someone who does it for a living... doesn’t matter if you’re talking about Hughie Fury or Arturo Gatti, my point stands
