    the winner will become the WBC Mayan heavyweight champion ? In this Twilight Zone world of boxing, it seems proper that a Swede and a Brit should contend for the Mayan title. I bet Andy Ruiz and even Chris Arreola are green with envy, missing out on winning an honour that commemorates their heritage!

    Boxing is beyond farcical with all these belts. The 'WBA regular', 'WBC franchise' and 'WBC Mayan' belts are particularly irritable.

    The fact there's already four 'legitimate' titles in each division is bad enough but this crap really takes the **** out of the sport.

    As a proud Mayan man, Tyson Fury will be a worthy recipient of this illustrious title. I'm sure he'll be paying tribute to Iztamna before retiring to his pyramid in the forests of Guatemala to reflect on this victory.

    They should have called it the WBC Gypsy belt.

    I am not sure what relevance Mayan has to either of them.

    At least Haye didn't demand PPV when he was fighting similar quality opposition in Gjergjaj and De Mori in his comeback.

    I assumed it was the motorcycle club, winner becomes a full patch member. Fury to come in in shades and a bandana plus full leathers riding a chopper.

    For a more satisfying Mayan experience, just run with Mel Gibson's, Mayan chase epic , Apocalypto. I'd rather see our 2 adopted Mayans lumbering their way through dense jungle pursued by headhunters and jaguars instead of performing their tedious BT, PPV , Vegas heist on the fans.
