Absolutely not. Ruiz can barely string a sentence together and AJ just spouted his usual mundane cliches.

 

AJ is such a boring **** it’s not even funny.

It’s like he’s constantly trying to sound over intelligent and wise, I’ve been calling for him to be himself throughout his career as opposed to this robotic, brainwashed idiot he portrays, but it looks like this is infact him.

I’m not saying the press conference was dull but during it, it occurred to me that Ruiz’s mouth is actually in the middle of his face... it’s just too far away from his chin. It’s not right. Also might explain why he irritates me so much with his dumb simpleton expression.

 

nope, no one said or did anything interesting. It was mostly Eddie Hearn selling the idea that the fight being in Saudi Arabia is the best thing that could happen in boxing, yawn. The most amusing thing about it was Ruiz pretending he is happy with the fight being there.

Joshua looked very uncomfortable.ruiz was being himself and looked relaxed and very confident.

 

All the pressure is on AJ. In fact, The pressure on that man is insane. Another devastating loss here and it may be all over. Imagine that.

I don't like AJ but I take no pleasure in observing the pressure currently on his shoulders. After all, he's just a boxer. The hype and pressure heaped on him has come from matchroom, sky and the fans. Such investment and promotion is both a blessing and a hindrance. A blessing on the way up, but an absolute hindrance when the chips are down.

 

Looking at Ruiz interviews there. He looks extremely relaxed and happy to be there. He'll have no issues psychologically, I'm sure of that. However, he's carrying a lot of extra timber. I hope he's disciplined and trains his ass off between now and fight night because we want to see the best version of Ruiz in there.

This is a great fight lads. I'm just glad it's going ahead. I want Ruiz to win but huge credit to AJ if he pulls it off.

 

All I can say is Ruiz hasn't missed many meals, he looks like he's been on double portions.
