Like someone just mentioned, a better comparison is Waldo's loss to Corrie Sanders... Waldo tried to slowly rebuild himself afterward while avoiding Corrie Sanders (Let his Brother Vitali do it) but still suffered another KO Loss to Lamon Brewster... An immediate rematch with Sanders would have certainly been a repeat of the first fight!

The silence after this fight, will be deafening. You guys wanted AJ to lose so bad, that you have all created this monster now in fat turd Ruiz haha. He won the first fight. So what. This is a completely different fight now. AJ is hungry and training specifically for Ruiz with the added edge of wanting his belts back. No messing around, no pumping up Ruiz for the sake of the fight, none of that. But now all of a sudden you idiots think that Ruiz is unbeatable hahahaah. AJ beat the guy who first beat Ruiz and also, he put Ruiz on his ass in the first fight too. He just got greedy, thinking of putting on a better show than Wilder did in the Breazeale fight and he got clipped in doing so. It happens. But from that, you idiots have made Ruiz unbeatable which again is laughable hahahah. WHEN AJ KO's this fat turd, I hope you idiots come back on here and keep that same energy...

I can see it go either way. AJ has real problems with Ruiz & limitations exposed.
But will he show the intelligence & fortitude to grow?

But the OP's comment about AJ trying to intimidate is reality-free.
it was a standard stare off, both doing their jobs, & civil.

The "fat turd" kind of talk is both vicious & immature>
Stick to adult & decent comments NOT tribal fate speech

The bully has been bullied, he looks like he hasn't the confidence to pull it off in that vid, saying something sly , looking at the floor, his confidence is shot ! Ruiz was cool, answered whatever Joshua said to him, his body language was " I don't give a ****",,Joshua would pick up on that and it would rattle him even more !

    Regards Sanil

Kidding yourself, the silence wont be as deafening as after the first fight..Joshua was the unbeatable monster, you got it all wrong and twisted, unless he gets the win I could see him finished with the sport

Trying to do a demolition job on Ruiz in the first fight is what caused him to lose. The only way he can win is by jabbing from range.

Lewis was a technically a far superior boxer to Joshua, he got sloppy against Rahman and was knocked out by one punch. Joshua was given a beating over several rounds. You can't compare the two losses.

This fight might be like Wlad vs Peter I, with Joshua hanging on for dear life.

For Joshua- jabbing and setting up the big punch and fighting a simple fight would do the trick and when he gets close hold onto Ruiz. Be aware always and be willing to counter and hold, counter and hold. I hope he has worked on that. I would rather see Joshua win. Ruiz winning sparks up boxing a little, but Ruiz could not beat Fury or Wilder. Sort of like any upset. Marquez could not beat the guys Pacman can. Barkley couldn't beat the guys Hearns can. Good styles against top fighters happen.

Ruiz would give Wilder lots of problems. Wilder struggled with old slow Ortiz, how is he going to handle a busy, fast, come forward fighter?

Well I pick Joshua if he double jabs at Ruiz and holds him on the inside. So in regards to Wilder, Wilder is faster than Joshua and I think he would hit Ruiz and stop him in a couple of rounds. To beat Ruiz you have to use the jab. His head movement is not that great. He just rocks back and forth and comes forward. A solid jab for a couple of rounds.. A really solid jab would open him up to right hands by either Wilder or Ruiz.

Wilder has never been someone to throw constant piston jabs. He's not a busy fighter and is prone to gassing out as we saw against Fury. He's also not great when being pressurised.

What about the Whyte, the Povetkin or the Parker fight? Did I dream that AJ beat all of them rather handily?
