After essentially admitting (he will never outright admit) that he lost the Kovalev fight my respect for him has really gone up. I always recognized him as a great fighter anyways.
Every interview where he delved into the fight he seemed to acknowledge that a Draw would have been fair for the history books (something many boxing fans struggle to do).
He has basically said that a loss would have been fine as well. He is just not happy about it being called a robbery.
First Kov fight was the clear definition of robbery. I was surprised Kov gave him a boxing lesson. Thought ward was the better boxier before the fight. Water under the bridge. One thing is certain, Andre Ward is his own biggest fan. He thinks very highly of himself and makes sure to let the world know every time he speaks.

So far I’ve watched 3 boxers on jre and I’ve been disappointed with all of them, I think it’s down to Joe’s lack of passion for the sport, Tyson Fury, Bud and Andre Ward all disappointing.
