I know it was only a couple of rounds and that Ricky was tailor made for Pac but imo that was the best version of Pac ever, phisically he was as good as ever plus he was a more well rounded fighter than he was at 126 and 130. He had great performances before and after that fight but for me that was prime Pac for me in weight where he should have spent more time at and establish a legacy at that weight but there were bigger fights at 147.
His Cotto fight was my favorite. Total destruction. But the 2nd & 3rd Morales fights were a testimony that he was something special.
Show me an Armstrong fight against a similar caliber opponent where he demonstrates similar stamina, speed and power.
Like I said in the first post. His Diaz-DLH-Hatton-Cotto run was Pac at his absolute boxing peak. At his physical prime he was only 95 percent of the fighter he would later become. This is normal in boxing.
Pacquiao walked down Marquez at his prime. Walked right into and through Marquezs haymakers. And Marquez is an ATG puncher at 126. And Pacquiao wasnt even buckled or wobbled. Unbelievable toughness by Pac back in the day. He raised his arms, banged his gloves together and asked for more.
