On the undercard just now, Vasiliy Alexievich Voytsekhovsky just made his pro debut at light heavyweight taking a UD in a 4-rounder against Konstantin Yurevich "The Volga Cossack" Piternov.

The longtime Russian trial horse, thirteen years Voytsekhovsky's elder, came in with (aside from a spare tire around his waist) a dead even record of 21-21 (10), and now has a losing record for the first time, I believe.

 

Oh, actually that was scheduled for light heavy but ended up functionally being fought at cruiser. Voytsekhovsky himself missed weight by a couple of pounds, but more importantly Piternov missed it by over 16 pounds!!!!!!! (191¼)

Fucking awful performance by Kurbanov so far, tbh... gets hit waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much (especially to himself be connecting at such a low percentage, and never with anything of real quality).

 

Muzaffarov seems to have no idea he's supposed to be here to pad Kurbanov's record.
