Sergei has no jab, leaves himself open to punishment too often, what he does well is he’s very careful and meticulous, has solid power, great technician with punch placement and combinations, has a solid chin. But with that said, this fight will only last 3-4 rounds, max 5. The reason is If you have no jab no head movement and you stall a lot, Golovkin will jab you and tag you over and over into the ropes, typically the corner and will unleash deadly combinations on you, wear you down quickly until you submit.

 

This is going longer than 5 rounds. Good chance it goes all 12. This is an aged, wealthy and slower Golovkin. While the chorus of “ggg is fading” grows with each of his fights, I have a strong conviction that this will be the match that shows “hes done”. Even if he wins it won’t be pretty

 

How can you say he’s aging, he’s slowing down and diminishing? He’s just facing better opponents now, if you take corruption out of the picture, he’s undefeated still.
