I feel a little bit the same and can't wait to see what Fergerson can do against Khabib who is outstanding at what he does but i'm just not a really a fan and tbh I suspect a lot of fans feel the same. I think his PPV number here and when he doesn't have a name opponent will show what I have felt all along that he won't be as big of a draw as people think
Went very much as thought,not hard to predict was it?as Khabib does this to everyone. Without the mythical background in Dagestan,fighting bears ect.I don't think anyone would care as his style is hardly fan friendly way of fighting and it really is predictable. course Ferguson gets his shot,loses like the rest and then it's gonna be a big cash out fight with GSP who out of everyone will have a good chance in beating Khabib as GSP has a similar boring but effective style.
So mock McGregor all you want but he's still the toughest fight Khabib has had since winning the belt. Dont get me wrong the dude has disgraced himself outside if the cage but his last in ring performance isn't as poor as a lot of people make it out to be. Only Gaethje and Ferguson can beat Khabib tbh. His wrestling and control are too good.

For the most part I think MMA is legit but just like in boxing and definitely in WWE I have my doubts as to whether some of these fights are staged. McGregor fight with Eddie Alvarez was highly suspect with Alvarez dropping to the floor every time Conor touched him.McGregor v Diaz 2 was another that I find dodgy as Diaz was just like Alvarez and going down when touched.Both those fighters have fought since and taken big shots and have been fine. They could easily string everyone along into the legend that is McGregor.
Ironically Conor got slated for a one sided loss over "five rounds"he even won a round against Khabib.
