I slept in and forgot it started early so haven't had chance to watch yet but yeah based on everything I have read and seen it pretty much went as expected with Khabib making a good fighter in his prime Poirier look second rate.
It does seem like GSP is probably the best comparison to Khabib and I Imagine a fight between the 2 at there peaks would have been interesting even if i'm not a fan of how either fight,Khabib may end up being the better of the 2 and on his way to finishing as the top lightweight ever and 1 of the best to ever do it if he continues his dominant ways.
I know it was years ago and Khabib has improved but I still go back to the Khabib v Tibau fight tho where we saw that Khabib was human and beatable,Tibau had and i think still has the best TD stats for lightweights and in there fight showed Khabib at the time at least struggling when he couldn't get it,which is why I think TFERG has the best chance to win as he has the ability to do a similar job with more tools to trouble and match the intensity of Khabib.
If Khabib can get thru that fight I would definitely like to see him test himself even once before he retires at welterweight, even if it's against GSP who after his performance against Bisping still looked fit and more then capable of challenging Khabib.

When was this ?, Conor was subbed in round 4, or was the fifth round after he jumped out of the cage.
