    I lean towards Froch.

I tell you what though how good would a peak Kessler vs a peak kovalev at sat 171lb be.

Kessler has the worst resume of the three but he's my favourite fighter out of them too.

the fight rating should be taken at the time of the fight

Kessler's win over Froch is greater than any of Frochs wins.
Kessler was faded at that time with eye problems when he took Frochs 0.
For example Pascal hadn't looked great at SMW and was better at lhw than smw.

Kessler's win over Beyer is arguably greater than any of Frochs. Debatable with Frochs win over Bute, I think.
Kessler's win over Mundine could be argued as greater than many of Frochs

It really has to be viewed where the fighters were in their careers

Kesslers performance over Mundine was pretty good. Considering that Mundine fought so negative and was fighting in his backyard.

    Froch for me also.

Kovalev a close second. Frustrating that history doesn't record robberies as he clearly beat Ward the first time around.

Froch, but Kovalev has a big fight or two left in him. If Kovalev beats the lineal champion or say Bivol, its a good debate.

Kovalev beating Cleverly is 7/10 ????

Do me an effing favour, beating Cleverly is no more than 5/10 (and that's being generous)

I don't need to lie down. I'm guessing you weren't watching his career (mundines) as it happened.
I like groves alot but couldn't imagine him beating a puncher like green and not sure he would have got past echols at that time.
Mundine could blow hot and cold and have bad days but when on form was hard to beat.

Now you need to pay attention to what I wrote as I said you had to look at the wins at the time of the fights.
When Kessler beat Mundine, it was between mundines smw title reigns.
When Froch beat groves, groves was only a British champ at the time and was no different to when Calzaghe beat starie.

I stopped caring about judges decisions a long time ago.

    To me, Kova beat Ward.

So to me, he has the best resume of the 3.

Froch for me, I had him beating Kessler in both fights, though I did think Dirrell beat him.

of course, its worth mentioning that ward has the best resume of them all since h has all these scalps.
