Upon hearing these comments, Fury replied by telling CBS Sports: “Deontay ‘Bronze B****cks’ Wilder is a dosser and he knows he is.

“I see all that stuff about how he wants me to step aside. Step aside to what? He’s terrified of the ‘Gypsy King’.

“He couldn’t beat the ‘Gypsy King’ when I had three years out of the ring on alcohol and drugs.

“How the f*** is he going to beat the ‘Gypsy King’ now that I’ve been training for two years. Come on.

“Depends how much they want to pay me because I ain’t stepping aside.

“That’s not quite how it works and it’s very costly work.”

Much as I think Fury talks a ton of bollocks most of the time, this is probably true. If Fury went back on his 20 burgers a day diet Wilder would be calling him out.

    Some other recent quotes..

Fury said: “I have heard about him saying he wants to pay me some step-aside money but I’m not a cheap w***e, I’m very expensive, and I don’t really want to step aside from anything.

“A few more pound coins in my pocket is not going to make me or break me. “I wouldn’t take £50million step-aside money because it doesn’t mean that much to me, I only care about winning and victory.

This would be a terrible time for Tyson Fury to step aside.

Everything is leading to the winners of Fury-Wilder and AJ-Ruiz facing each other. It would be huuuuuuuuuge.

Fury risks being frozen out completely if Wilder vs the winner of AJ-Ruiz goes ahead.

Fury trolls Wilder just like Wilder trolls Joshua .

On this situation ? Fury is correct ,Joshua or Ruiz wont be fighting until spring earliest so why is Fury needing to step aside if his Wilder bout is scheduled for February ? Wilder looking to take another very easy route to a undisputed ,an undisputed he most likely will forget when AJ is unified champion again. This guy is a clown so is Fury ,two clowns .

I prefer the trolling Fury that slags everybody off, especially Wilder and Joshua. Fighting C- class dossers doesn't impress me tho.

Wilder-Ruiz is what happens next. Fury should wait and challenge whichever one wins for all the major belts. He should fight a halfway decent opponent in the meantime.

This will be a higher payday for him too.

Fury shouldn't be talking, he's the one that decided against an immediate rematch and decided to fight two cans back to back before Wilder.

He's seeing that Joshua payday evaporate before his very eyes.

Fury ****ed Wilder and ESPN over with that deal he signed with them. Ruiz winning then lessened a Joshua payday should he even get his titles back and then he now has a much fitter than the one that easily outboxed him for nearly every round of their fight to contend with.

This is exactly what I was going to say, you can’t decline the rematch, then turn around and say they are ducking you. This just makes Fury sound stupid. I’m not a Wilder fan, and Wilder pulls the exact same trick, but fare is fare.
