Firstly, whilst I am a big fan of Fury, I'm not like certain members in this forum who defend fighters who have blatantly been caught out in the wrong. Wallin is underwhelming and I won't be paying to watch him. However I do get the logic. I do feel had fury not have fought wilder yet, so though Schwartz when he fought wilder instead, and faced wallin when he was fighting Shwartz so to speak, people would be a lot more accepting of his come back. I think what frustrates the boxing fans is that we are way hint Fury fight people we know he is levels above, after watching him hold his own and possibly even beating the supposed baddest man on the planet. However anybody who pays attention will know Fury, whilst not as slick, is a more aggressive and more powerful fighter when he's southpaw. In fact most of his kos have come from this stance. I know wilder is not a southpaw, and I was surprised that Fury did not fight from the southpaw position more in their bout. It will make him more suspectable to eating straight rights, which wilder is a killer with. But if he can go 12 rounds in a southpaw position against wallin, whilst he won't be suspectabls to a straight right, it will be good for him to get southpaw rounds in before the big rematch. What do ya think?

I was very suprised myself that he didn't fight much out of the southpaw stance against Wilder as I was expecting him to as he spent large parts of the Klitschko fight doing so. I feel he would have done so if Peter was still his trainer as I do remember Davidson was insistant inbetween rounds that the jab out of the orthadox position was the key to winning for Fury.

@Eggman Yeah thought it might be the case. Obviously the fights aren't very competitive, but Fury's team are clearly thinking from a business sense.

Yes. People are riding on the ‘fury bum tour’ bus, but don’t realise what’s going on behind the scenes.

He went to Germany beat kilt

He went and fought wilder and should have won after 2 warm ups against scrubs.

He now has a guaranteed shot at wilders WBC. He is now ranked high with the IBF and WBO. Wallin is no.4 in the WBA.

    It’s a chess match

Yep definitely playing the long game to the point where the champs will have to fight him, or if a belt becomes vacant, he becomes mandatory for it.

Wallin went life and death with a guy that Dimitrenko knocked out in a round. That's his best win ffs.

Yes. He did. Yet he is ranked no.4 in the WBA. The only org Tyson is not top 5.

Write to the WBA, I don’t do the ratings. Tyson wants the ranking

    Mmmmm.....no.

    He’s already fighting wilder again....

Fighting wallin makes him a candidate to be undisputed should he dethrone wilder of his WBC

Highly ranked but not very good, he struggled big time with Granat who’s pants!

I’ll get up the next morning and read about the results while eating a fry up, might watch highlights if there are any knockdowns
