Canelo just moved up to 160 now he's moving up 15 pounds.

This is just fascinating, way better than GGG-Rolls @164 for example.

I think Canelo will look wayyyy too bulky vs Kovalev. What do you think?

Canelo, like Mayweather before him, is a classic manufactured champion . It wasnt long ago he was claiming to be WBC middleweight champ but was NOT a 160 pound fighter. Now suddenly he claims to be a 175 pound fighter thats TWENTY POUNDS heavier than his Canelo weight 155 lol
Take away his " Vegas " wins including 2 robberies against GGG he's really a pretty ordinary fighter with what would be an average record. Read everyones opinion on the proposed Clenelo/Kov fight. Its EXPECTED that if Clenelo is standing at the final bell he "wins" AGAIN!!! thats automatic!! Is it any wonder boxing is at an all time low in popularity?? May as well put Vince MacMahon as head honcho of the NSAC I say it couldnt be much worse

Canelo is a freak of nature, can go from unable to fight at 160 to fully fledged 175'er in three years..

He is not just a great boxer but an ATG sportsman.

Up there with Lance Armstrong, Ben Johnson, Alberto Contador, Marion Jones etc.

Canelo has already been at 175 before by knocking out the guy who was the World Champion so it has proven that he can fight at that weight class. His weight is O.K. but his height and reach might be obstacles.

Canelo is stocky, he is finally in his correct weight class. Just don't expect him to fight the other guys.

It will be one fight against shot kovalev , not a chance he will fight gvozdyk or baterbiev.

Canelo haters: Alvarez is a true LHW draining to 160 and 168 to have a size advantage over smaller Jacobs and Fielding.

Also Canelo haters: Canelo drained Jacob's and Fielding.

Clenelo, Oscar Fishnets & Floyd are the 3 biggest boils on the butt of boxing in many a year. Them & their cohorts have brought the sport to its knees Yet STILL people support them the mind boggles

If Canelo loses against a natural Lightheavy, it wont be counted against him. If he wins it will boost him dramatically, but it has to be legit, Kovalev is shot now, but he is still larger and can knock you out with a jab.

LHW is Canelo's perfect weight but after he beats Kova he'll start doing catchweights again

Kova is ripe for the picking and he's cashing out, if he struggled with crude Yarde, Canelo will KO him easily

:nononoI'm a Canelo hater. I've never said either of those things.

I said Canelo was an overweight Junior Middleweight and a will be a small Middleweight, who's caught between a rock and a hard place. He's too big to fight at JMW at this point, but is undersized at MW, and far too small to fight at SMW.

Jacobs is a MW and Rocky is a SMW, he fought them at MW and SMW.
