Sanders had just knocked out Wladimir Klitschko for the WBO belt at the time.

I think he could have beaten McCall or Bruno.

I feel Charles would have beaten Roy at heavy and maybe light heavy too.

I feel Roy would have beat Dempsey from this fight but struggled a lot more with Tunney because of his quick defensive feet and counter punching at 175 and heavyweight.

I feel Tunney`s fleet footed counte punch style would bother Roy who mainly fed of fighters missing so he could counter, Roy had trouble opening fighters like Malinga up when they weren`t that active punch wise, that`s why Roy said the one fighter at 168 that would have bothered him was Eubank because he was just a counter puncher too, in saying that Roy landed far more lead shots than Eubank ever did, specifically his lead right that wa far better than Eubank`s clumsy lead right and better than any lead right hand fighters in the heavyweight division pre `50`s ever threw, including Tunney.

I rate your list 5/10 a lot of good calls and a number of bad calls, Marciano would have landed far more shots than the slow Ruiz did, he would have thrown more shots at Roy than any fighter Roy faced before aside from Glencoffe Johnson who didn`t have Marciano`s power or chin, Schmeling would have been hard and Douglas probably would have beat Roy. Walcott would have knocked Roy out too and Johnson had more power than Roy.

Bruno and McCall were never true champions though.

Yeah, but that's not the champion for me. Jones was never a HW champion either, neither was Ruiz.

    You're a strange guy Mark.

You've told me time and again that you don't believe that Roy is an ATG.

Yet here you are, asking how a past prime, 34 year old former MW would have fared against former HW champs.

I can't help you if you can say you have watched video of both Tunney and Jones and still feel like Tunney could do jack **** against a prime Jones.

McCall knocked out Lennox Lewis who most (with a clue) regard as one of the best heavyweights of all time.
