Few years ago I'd have enjoyed this.. Not now.... I think canelo stops him.. Take his time getting passed that jab... Work him to the body .. Wait for kovalev to tire... .... Stops him around tenth.. Even though kovalev is a bigger man.. I just can't see him lasting.. His monstrous prime is gone.. His jab is still elite... I fear the rest is not..... And I ****in hate canelo

Kov really just needs to stick to a plan similar to yarde. Distance, jab jab jab, don’t waste energy throwing bombs unless a clear opportunity presents itself.

Easier said than done against canelo though

Kovalev has his chance for redemption, to atone for his sins in Ward I&II.

He was supposed to humble Ward, end his hype, end his talk, end the self-righteous posturing guru garbage which has now only accelerated in the pundit zone. Instead he made 'Dre' even more unbearable. Yes, Kov was robbed in the first fight, but he still faded and still failed to leave Ward out cold on the canvas, the nerves in SOG's body headbutting the mat on instinct like a dead chicken still running.

Kov atoned for Ward I by humbling Yarde, by KO'ing the unsavoury entity with a jab. Now if he KO's Canelo, he will atone for Ward II. He will do what even the great Gennady Greiovynoeihcnoivocvich Golovkin failed to do for us. This is Krusher's holy mission!

if canelo does pull it off then i will have to grudgingly give him some respect for ruling in 4 divisions with waves in a 5th division.
But GGG will exceed that by the time he is finished - trust me!

Canelo wants to lock down fighter of the decade with only three months to do it and he's still trailing Manny and Floyd. This is his hail Mary.

Props to Canelo for taking this fight. Kov is on the downside but he’s been sharp in recent fights. He’s still dangerous and is considerably bigger with longer reach. That jab is dangerous but Canelo is a great counterpuncher and a vicious body puncher. Will be interesting to see how Kov reacts to the first big body shot he takes and the first hook he eats from the smaller man. Of course, knowing Canelo, he’s probably going to walk into the ring on fight day at 200lbs. Will be curious to see how he moves at a higher weight. If They have a hydration clause and Kov is drained, I’m not going to watch the fight. Older guys typically can’t drain and retain stamina. If that’s the case, Canelo’s body attack will be lethal. Full weight, I like Kov in this fight unless it goes to the cards. Canelo doesn’t lose on the cards unless the other guy is named Floyd.

Kov is in the twilight of his career and he's coming right of the back of a very damaging fight he was very nearly KO'd in. He might still be concussed going into this fight. DLH and Co. know he's easy pickings and thats the only reason this fight is happening.

Its a shame really because Canelo can fight. The reason the majority in the boxing world havent taken to him is due to his
"backers". I mean Oscar, The NSAC & Bob Bennett & Vegas boxing. They have protected him & given him decisions & titles he really did not deserve. The Clenbutrol deal didnt help either. I honestly think he is another Floyd. Both had the talent to get to the top without the obvious."HELP"!!
Their legacies will suffer because they will always be regarded as manufactured champions because of this & will never be regarded as ATG's like Ali, Robinson etc
Again shame!! because they had the talent
