Everyone said Manny wouldn't be able to deal with those guys either. I also don't think Loma was unable to deal with Salido at all. Loma was dominating that fight by the end and was only down on the cards because of his own pacing issues.

Pac's savage power from the lower weights translated to above average power at the higher weights. Lomachenko doesn't have that same luxury.

Everyone on Pac's resume from 140 and up would walk through Lomachenko's shots.

Loma is too small to go above 135 lbs, but he is also the most skilled fighter I've ever seen.

At the time, age, weight, condition Pac fought them:
    - decisions MAB in exciting war
    - splits fights with JMM
    - splits fights with Morales (daaaaaaaaaaaamn!)
    - beats Diaz
    - never considers fighting DLH (but beats the drained version)
    - Hatton was horribly overtrained for Pac, so Loma probably handles him
    - gets stopped via body shot while comfortably ahead vs. Cotto
    - beats Clottey
    - WUD Margarito (but possibly LTKO at such a high weight)
    - beats old Mosley
    - controversial/close loss to Bradley while pushed, cut off, taken out of comfort zone, body shots, butts, holds, elbows, something his amateur style still can't handle)
    - beats Rios
    - loses to Floyd
    - tough fight vs. Horn... horrible robbery in Aussie?
    - beats Broner
    - um.... beats this Thurman? Dunno, say yes

Of the above mentioned, who would you pick to lose to Salido?

The difference is Pac was not afraid to prove everyone wrong. He went up 2 weight classes, 3 weight classes in a year to fight ODLH who from his POV was still elite as he took Floyd to SD 10 months prior. Meanwhile, Loma was afraid to fight a what was perceived to be a shot Pac.

Linares still had faster combo`s than anyone Manny fought, so his hand speed hadn`t slipped at all.

I don`t think there is a way of beating the matrix, he has improved since the Salido fight.

Uh Marquez lost his pro debut, I doubt he's beating Salido in his second fight.

Fighting Marquez, Barrera and Morales in a row is no joke. It's a murderous row.

However, to be beat Barrera, Marquez and Morales. Is not to over power them but to out skill them. And that's loma specialty ! I think he beats the 3 amigos. But there could be a trilogy with Morales or Marquez. Because it could be very close.

I'd take Loma over everybody on Manny's resume below 140 pounds. I'd take Pac over Loma though.
