Lomachenko's resume is a small sample size and his defense is good enough that landing flush on him is a rarity and he's never really looked badly hurt, so it's hard to accurately gauge where his chin is. But I do think that his insistence on not moving up is a clear indicator that he's feeling the shots much more at lightweight—to the degree that a move to 140 would be disastrous.

Where do you rate Lomachenko's chin?

In the 'Good' range for me. He has a very good defense and is adept and riding and blocking the shots. I can't put him higher until he gets cracked by a dynamite puncher, and the Linares knockdown is obviously there.

Loma also seems to damage fairly easily in other ways (bruises etc). Anyone notice that?

Yes. Lomachenko looked like he was the other survivor in Unbreakable after the Pedraza fight.

Well, we've never seen him with his lights put out like Pacquiao.

Well, it can happen when you fight killers for 10+ years at higher weights.

I wouldn't call Marquez a higher weight killer.

Can't say at the moment, he got KD'd but that was more of him just getting caught square. Don't really look too much into that.

Every time he’s been down (Twice. Once in ams) he’s come back and stopped the guy. And he’s never even been close to being sent to the light at the end of the tunnel dropped like Pac. So his chin is VERY good I’d say.

Solid, def not chinny. The knockdown from Linares was timing based rather than power/chin issue. But he's never getting hit with a wild power punch to test it properly so it's as good as it needs to be.

Has Lomachenko ever fought a guy who was already a big puncher with laser accuracy and was on roids?
