That was so sad to see. It seemed Chavez Jr kept trying to shrug off the shots. That was like watching Chavez Jr slowly drown, it was hard to watch imo. Especially when the crowd seemed emotional Chavez finally got a taste of his own medicine though
For those who could decipher what Oscar was talking about when he would talk of Canelo growing into his man body ect,the clenbuterol thing came as no surprise. Canelo gets talked of as some freak who is still growing lol.
I was at that fight with floor seats. By round 6 I told my bros that Chavez was going to get stopped. Incredible night!
How on earth does he won this easily?It's a genuine question by the way,I'm not being clever or anything,since I predicted Canelo would win Golovkin rematch easy and I even predicted a Canelo knock out v Jacobs. thing is Anders,they were anything but easy as he always let's his opponent's back into the fight. If Canelo can't get Kovalev out of there by round four he's gonna be in for another close fight and I haven't ruled out Kovalev winning rounds convincingly.
I don't see Kovalev handling the pressure from Canelo well. I can see Kovalev winning some rounds aswell, but at the end, i am positive he can't keep up with the pressure, power and output from Canelo. His chin seems vulnerable as of late, he can be hurt to the body and tend to fatigue late in fights. Canelo hasn't showed those flaws. I can see Kovalev making it a competitive fight, but i believe Canelos chin, power and endurance will keep up at 175 and he will eventually hurt Kovalev and win by KO or TKO.
