His middleweight title is at best incredibly controversial, his 168 title is bogus and his lhw fight will prob be at a catchweight. Oh and there were only 8 divisions when Armstrong was fighting. Other than all that - an excellent comparison. Canelo should write a book on how to hack boxing.
And it most likely was that A ROBBERY!! Thats the way many of his fights have ended up. Lara, Trout, GGGx2, for example. why was his win over cotto controversial though? its just as legit as GGG's taking the title from lemmy...though cotto is better. both canelo and 3g definitely won one title in the ring, same as, just canelo won it against against someone better. the truth is the reverse of your claim about mw. even if you were actually right about your whole post, then canelo still did more the same as 3g with the LMW division.
I liked Canelo a lot, but i lost a lot of respect for him with the decision that he get and the b.c. he was talking after the fights. But Canelo fans are really *****. After the first fight, that 99,99% of the people on the planet said Golovkin won quite handly, they were saying the fight was close and it was not robbery, but the fight could have gone to either boxer. After the second robbery they start saying that GGG won the first side, but lost the second one. ;D In the second bout even if you give every single close round to Canelo, and even the rounds that Golovkin has a little bit of the upper hand, Canelo still handy lost the fight.
