Chisora absolutely destroys Hearn, Smith, Prograis and Taylor at Press Conference

Yeah it’s standard to appear, I believe it’s a contractual requirement. But then he doesn’t have to trash talk and promote it like Hearn would want him to.

Chisora is a business man, all he cares about now is money.

On the subject of Chisora the above (timestamped) is one of my favourite Chisora moments. After taking a hard first round being pinned on the ropes by Takam and absorbing big shots for 90 seconds he just stands up, soaks in the O2 crowd and just vows that he isn't go out like a punk to a French Frog in his hometown. Listen to the crowd.

 

Fights like that are why Chisora is so popular here despite not being the best heavyweight in the world.

 

It would be interesting to know the purses and potential PPV add-on percentages. I’m guessing all are earning fairly well from this.

Love him or loathe him, Hearn has done well by most of the fighters that box on his card. I can’t remember too many complaining about how they’ve been treated until now. I’m guessing this is a ploy to generate publicity, which seems to have worked. Parker must have earned a good few quid working on Hearn promoted cards!

 

I assume the prize money for Prograis and Taylor was already set. The PPV upside will go to Chisora and Parker you’d imagine which is probably why we’ve seen those scenes.

 

I like Del, only a few months back he outboxed a juiced up Whyte for 11 rounds.
