Has Ward really achieved so much more than Loma? Ward was the World Champ at 168, and just a titlist at 175 (Stevenson was the champ). He has a few good names on his resume, but it's not like it's a highly robust resume or anything.
You are right. Loma doesn’t achieve multiple low blows, doesn’t nut punch intentionally and hug without breaking. Ward was a garbage cheater and Loma isn’t.
I have no agenda at all. I wasn't speaking about the commentators words I was only asking about the knockdown so the rest of it doesn't concern me. Lomachenko is probably my favorite active fighter so focus on the knockdown, if it was one as opposed to whatever your other issues are.
I'm wondering that as well. I only asked was he knocked down? But I guess it's hard to ignore the commentary.
I 100% agree with this statement. And I only asked about this one sequence but apparently that means I have to hate Lomachenko or not appreciate his skillset.
Why do people get their panties in a bunch about P4P ratings? It's not official and everyone obviously had different criteria, mostly people just want to heap imagined praise on their favorite. People rate Loma over Ward P4P because they think Loma is a better boxer. That's that. In terms of achievement, P4P typically are supposed to represent the present, in the last 7 years Ward has only two controversial wins over Kovalev to his credit. Calling Loma P4P #1 right now isn't disrespecting a legend like Pacman, people just think Loma is better right now...grow up.
You can't, that's why. Their resumes are much closer than posters like you would ever admit. Like I said, Ward only was the World Champ at 168. He was just a titlist at 175.
