Only fought last month with a very nice KO win against unbeaten fighter. Now hes fighting Elorde who is 28-1. this is looking promising, i hope he has another fight after again this year, if he handles the filipino easily enough.
Both guys are 28-1 records but I will back Navarette in this,fair play to Navarette for fighting again so quick.
People love to talk about weight bullies but are quiet about him for whatever reason. Hes huge for 122.
weight bullies usually get exposed like Hurd. Navarette is an exciting fighter but he is bloody reckless, he will get beaten again. But hes a good fighter to watch so i like him.
I like Navarette & don't think he will be beat @ 122lb unless Inoue moves up or weight drained @122lb.
Your understanding of a weight bully may be off. A weight bully is someone who is able to walk around significantly heavier but has the ability to drop a lot of weight for a fight and then rehydrate in the hours/day leading up to the fight. They also will fight at heavier weights against lesser competition and then drop back down and require better fighters to fight them at catch weights below their natural weight, like what SRL did with LaLonde. To my knowledge, Navarette has never done this.
