    Almost reminds me of Gerry Cooney who used to do self destructive things to himself in training camp so he would have an excuse if he lost and something or someone to blame.

    I highly doubt that is true.

    What is more likely is that Tyson Fury is desperately saying anything for attention and media coverage for his dead-beat fight with the Otto Wallin, which is projected to be a massive failure much like his previous fight.

    But I do know he incorporated 2/3 beers a night before a long run to help carb load.

    Whether this is actually productive or not, I don’t know.

    *edit not every night, only on the days where it would be steady state long runs.
