If Tank’s balls ever drop and he agrees to fight Loma, I hope you don’t get amnesia. He scurried from 130 without facing any of the belt holders and I expect him to do the same at LW. Wonder which little guy he will face in his first fight at 135 or how many tuneups he will need before he faces a top five guy. It looks like he’s targeting the ghost of Gamboa. Is anyone really clamoring to see that fight?

If Campbell is a 7, Gamboa is more like a 3! I’d like to see Tank fight a guy of Campbell’s size and skill level. I’m not into perma bans or any of that nonsense. Just want to see people man up and say they were dead wrong. I’m willing to do it but don’t think I’ll have to when it comes to Tank vs Loma. If Tank wins legitimately, I’ll make him my avatar even though I’m not a fan. More fun than a perma ban!

There is a reason Floyd is keeping Tank far away from Loma. I can easily see Tank getting very frustrated and pulling a no-mas or fake injury. He’s fighting bums exclusively these days and needs to step up before he can fight an elite guy like Loma.

 

He’s a bit of a hype job but he’s so young. I don’t think anyone is pretending he can beat top guys at this stage. Not many guys his age are. The beautiful thing about boxing is we will know soon enough. I hope this kid continues to progress and step up the competition at the right time.

Lots of smack talk and hype surrounding boxers throughout history. Only today there are more outlets to have these verbal battles. Eventually most are settled in the ring. Ryan will have his day but it’s not for a long time.
