Doesn't look like the Canelo fight will be happening, at least any time soon.
    So, whats next for GGG?
The Derevyenchenko fight is next. He should win that fight. It's not a big fight though. The gate receipts will be less than 3 million. It's a definite money loser for DAZN given how much they are paying him.
What other options for GGG to get one last chance at the bright lights??
No fight at 160 comes close to super fight
At 168, we have Callum Smith. Of course, it wouldnt be a mega fight but it will definitley fill up a stadium in the UK
At 175, IF Kovalev finds a way to beat Canelo by brutal stoppage, I can see GGG moving up to take a chance against him. If Kov wins a decision Canelo will likely rematch Kov. If Canelo sparks out Kov then scratch that idea.

What options for a big fight does GGG realistically have at this point?

It seems to lie on Canelo, Kovalev should he beat Canelo, or whomever might emerge from other top unifications at 168/175.

I would like to see Kovalev and Golovkin in a 175 match. If GGG could get past Kovalev's jab and work his body he could win.
P.S. Kovalevs only chance to beat Canelo is by KO, he'll never win a decision .

why set the bar so low? He will get five more big fights, because he is going to do what elites and ATGS do.

If by some miracle Cansmello beats Kov then GGG will move up to unify LHW and smash Alvarez. Both of them.

It took him more than 30 years to have a big fight. Make your maths.

Not everyone is Canelo dude. Floyd didnt get his mega fight with Oscar until he was 30. Kov is 36 and is getting his first mega fight. GGG and Canelo together sold over 2.5 million PPVs and 50 million at the gate in Vegas.

rofl, floyd was fighting hernández, atg in superfeatherweight, being 21 yo. At 23 he was beating the crap out of chico corrales. When did you start watching boxing? yesterday?

I didnt ask gg to be floyd anyway. Just not being a disgrace would have been enough. He can always fight again el veneno rubio to give us one of those "superfights" that he loves. I've been told that el veneno is now better than ever at his 80 years old.

    the truth is the truth.

If he is afraid of fighting again an atg like el veneno rubio he can always fight and rematch a natural huge puncher like monroe jr.

Ishida maybe is too much, he koed kirkland with a jab, atg fighter this ishida, big win by gigi. hahahaha.

    TRUTH, that's what matters.

Big fight means a hard fight. Golovkin doesn't want those type of fights. He jumped at the opportunity to fight Brook but won't do the same for Callum smith when Eddie proposed that fight to him

gg would rather cut himself an ear than fight callum.

And callum is nothing near to an atg. Just a good fighter, bigger than him, but just a good fighter.

    are you dumb?
He just fought Canelo twice and wanted a third fight with him.
It wasnt until the man started losing rounds that any decent opponent would get in the ring with him.
As if Dchenko is a scrub.

Callum Smith at this point in his career would probably beat Kovalev TBH
