I was browsing the forum and i noticed one thread about Leo Santa Cruz and i realized hes a fighter that means little or nothing to me for some reason. Its not that i dont like him or not hes just someone i pay little attention to and dont care if he fights or not he might as well be retired as far as as im concerned. Do you guys feel the same about others fighters and if so who?
Russell Jr. Santa Crus. Tank Davis. Carl Frampton. Luis Nery. Oscar Valdez. Gilberto Ramirez. Probably a lot more, but these are some guys whose name I hear a lot, but pay little attention to. They rarely take part in meaningful fights. Also starting to loose interest in Jermall Charlo and Jamie Munguia.
tank davis, probably. I dont give a F. I dont know why, tbh. I just always forget that he exists. In 5 min, I will now longer remember that there is a fighter called gervonta. pufff, I just forget.
I have a lot of fighters like that. If you mean in terms of “I’d be gutted if they lost”, the only ones are Loma, Fury & Inoue. Apart from that, I couldn’t care less.
At this point Joseph Parker. He has potential, but I haven’t seen any improvement or growth in him in years and seems to just be going through the motions.
Fighters currently Crawford Charlo Porter Fighters from the past Mayweather springs to mind, ATG but if he was fighting I’d watch it the day after.
I don't care about the majority. I care about the fights, but I don't care about who wins the majority of the time. I just want the good fighters facing each other.
Tyson Fury. Know I might catch some grief here but hear me out. Cons: So much bullsiht comes out of his mouth you can’t tell what’s real or not. Fights bums like Otto what’s his name and has one good W on his record in an aged Wlad. Pros: Entertaining. Boxing, at the end of the day, is for entertainment. He entertains in droves. Head movement and a sort of Jersey Joe Walcott esque herky jerky style that is unique. Reason I don’t care either way: For the same reason I never cared about Mayweather. I’ll never know how good he really is until he quits cherry picking his opponents.
This. Add on Pac & PBF. Used to love 'em both, but today? They are in a win/win scenario now at age 40+, so I don't care to see them fight anymore for that simple fact. A loss, well he's old. A win, oh, he turned the clock back, even against fighters deemed questionable.
None on my list. I watch them all. I couldn't and wouldn't name a fighter in this category even if I was forced to at gunpoint.
