Hard fight s at their best for any man. Both hit like hell. I can see Jack going down against both tbh, he d stop William s in a short brawl. Lyle, in front knocking Dempsey down, is caught by him mid fight and rocked severely. Jack becomes a killer and stops him, almost knocking him thru the ropes! Dempsey wko Williams 3 Dempsey wrsf lyle 7
Williams was a very awkward hwt who failed most every time he stepped up. He steps up to Jack Dempsey and wins? VERY unlikely.
He would beat both those guys. I think Lyle only knocked out one contender and he's not out-boxing Jack. Williams just isn't good enough, not for Dempsey. Williams would go early in a shoot out, Lyle would go later probably.
I think he's saying that every time Williams stepped up his competition.....although Miske>>>>Williams
I can't think of one Dempsey victim who had the combination of power, athleticism and skill of these two. Can someone name these? My memory seems a little off today.
A 38 year old Willard, who didn't have a fast twitch fiber in his body... and had boxed only 10 sluggish rounds in 4 years... who was practically an amateur in the ring, has more skill and speed and power than Ron Lyle? Disqualified.
