Well by my count he won 9. Wilder is terrible. Fat fury who just went the distance with Otto Wallin humiliated him. Says it all about that joke of a “champion”.
Dunno why everyones upset. I just watched that with no commentary, and what I saw was Wallin unable to land hardly any good punches after the forth, while Fury hammered away landin lots of good heavy blows. The poor swede copped it for most of the match - take away the cut, amd it was actually pretty one sided. Credit to Fury for nursing a cut that bad for that long!
I'll say it, he couldn't beat Wilder Joshua or Ruiz, Wallin is a C fighter who was hand picked to lose . Wilder would starch him out inside 2.
Wallin's got quite a high tight guard and decent pumping jab, plus decent chin. Those types tend to cause Wilder problems, see Duhaupas fight.
Fury is the reason this fight went the distance, Wallin was outta gas as early as the 7th and Fury couldn't do anything about it. You wanna run outta gas in front of Deontay Wilder?
Gotta love the classic overreaction that happens when Fury slacks. Everyone gets amnesia and forgets that he usually fights down to the level of fighters he has no respect for- the Schwarz fight was the abnormality, not the rule. He'll turn it up again against better competition. Make the mistake of using his floor to judge his ceiling at your own peril. I still wouldn't favor any other HW to beat him.
fury won the fight CLEARLY wallin is just better then people expected now apparently fury is terrible... smh fury is the #1 heavyweight DEAL with it...
Jesus this is a bit harsh. Look at some of the struggles some ATGs had against no names, like James Toney, Ali, wlad, vitali quitting with a sore shoulder against past it Byrd. We could write a list of 50 great boxers who had to dig deep or occasionally lost to a ‘no name’.
Let's just list our way through this post: 1. Hype job? Because you have said this, and through all available data you come across as a tad - how to put this - 'mentally vanilla' you immediately weaken your own case. And, by the way: 'exaggerated hype job'? As opposed to an understated one? lol. 2. 'nothing but cherry picking'. He fought Wilder and Wlad and is slated to fight Wilder again. Next. 3. He easily beat Wlad but straight after ducked him.... hmmm, this point lacks any logic. 4. Made up depression and drug addiction, is your next outstandingly original observation. Mistaking opinion for fact. You have no evidence or insight into the validity of his claims. Dismissed. 5. Next proper opponent will wipe away this bum' Well, Wilder didn't manage to do this and they're not many HWs better than him, so who will exactly? (rhetorical, no need to answer) 6. Wallin didn't win the fight, but you know this. You just added that at the end before metaphorically patting yourself on the back for your post. Truth teller*? Yeah, like the 'truth' community that thinks the world is flat and chemtrails are an actual thing. *You used an underscore in your forum name. Underscores are generally only used by virgins...
First get your facts right at least, as Wlad is 3-1, 3KO's against 6'5"+ southpaws. It wasn't hard to come up with those because those are Thompson 2x of course and Pianeta, of who Fury himself fought the corpse recently. I was surprised to see those were the only 3, because Wlad has had a long career and fought many 6' 5"+ opponents. Not many were southpaws though. I don't think Fury is "exposed", as I didn't see the fight but it seems he just struggled and beat an completely unknown opponent. If this guy gets levelled by others when fighting better oposition, then we can talk "exposed".
