how did he show heart? the cut dont hurt, he wasnt losing enough blood to weaken himself, he wasnt up against a guy with power... what exactly did he do that showed real courage?
he lost a lot of blood I think, and had impaired vision. Wallin may not have huge power but hes a big unit and did have enough to buzz Fury in the 12th. I find it odd he didn't attack the eye more regularly but whatever
What a pathetic display....... The feather fisted arm puncher Gypsy vs the pillow fist sparring partner Swede................both cannot crack a egg... 20% 50% 70% dis and dat....s, Fury plain sucks...............Riddick Bowe would have mauled him worse that Gonzales and Mike Tyson would fold him in two.....what a joke........freaking Mitch Green would have ko'ed that bum Wallin. Fury is gun shy as hell against a pillow fist, got even stunned by it aka glass to be shattered soon. There is a reason he only fights bums because when he even remotely steps up he is getting beaten or going life and death. His claim to fame is throwing 5.378 punches against a shot WK who in his prime was waxed brutally by ham and eggers in probably the worst title fight in a century. Got a gift draw against Wilder with the long count and the Refs help to let him recover..... Fury will never ever fight Wilder again......all smoke and mirrors, because he knows he is getting iced. The ESPN commenting was even more pathetic then the fight. Conclusion: Two British Hype jobs with the Gypsy and the Bodybuilder with no chin. As far as the cut is concerned.......Hagler received a worse cut and he came out a finished a ATG in a round vs Fury dancing with a Bum for 12....
he lost no more than your average nose bleed, and he was repeatedly checked to insure his vision wasnt impaired, because that forces a stoppage, and was found to be fine. i thought both fighters played it too safe and didnt have the courage to seize the moment. it was a decent competition, but neither guy laid it all on the line. fury is just not that good, never has been. i knew he would look bad vs pianeta, figured wilder would beat him, and wasnt surprised he got worked last night. the guys claim to fame is winning the most boring hw title fight ever, then quitting cause he was juiced up for that fight, then bull-shitting his way into relevancy again. what actual proof is there that he is better than average?
I just watched round 12 of Fury vs Wallin. Wallin is a bum, what kind of shots is that? Pick a guy from street, and he would throw better punches. However, he dominated Fury in round 12, he toyed with him. Fury in round 12 shows what a miserable boxer he is. He doesn't have a boxer stance, please watch it: This content is protected
If Fury's a joke, what does that make Wilder? Other than the 2 knockdowns, Fury was giving him a boxing lesson.
I agree that an absolutely awful performance by Fury, but I don't really agree with judging him by the 12th round. At that point he had been fighting like 8 rounds while protecting a pretty goddamn severe cut above his eye and trying hard for a KO. I judge him most by the rounds leading up to the cut, in which Wallin was completely outboxing him -- which largely led to the severe cut.
Lol Tyson Fury has always been a horrible boxer. Dumb Brits and other dumb Europeans who were just so happy to have a European contender/champion thought he was good. Tyson Fury fought a 40 year old timid Wladimir Klitschko and landed 86 punches in 12 rounds in the most boxing heavyweight title fight I ever seen. Then he landed 84 punches in 12 rounds or 7 punches per round against unskilled hype job Deontay Wilder while getting dropped twice and these Brits act like Fury is some kind of boxing legend.
His fight with wilder will be 12 rounds trying hard not to be sparked. He hits lighter than me, he has not the power to push away wilder, nor anyone, all his plan will be to survive. 12 rounds surviving, pit pat trying to win rounds. The odds of 12 rounds wihout a single clean right hand by wilder are not too much, btw. His future doesnt seem very promising, tbh.
Fury has never been orthodox in his methods anyway so I wouldn't go off that. You do feel both Furys could make life easier for themselves by sitting on their shots, can't just have your opponent walking you down when your nearly seven feet talk can you?
I've said this before about Fury 're his pre fight talk of ripping heads off ect,it's all fake as all you ever get from him is 100% tactics.
