That cut is going to open up very easily again, especially getting hit by a 220+lb man.

I don't think that Fury career is going to be over soon. He can continue because of his tremendous size. He's a giant heavyweight. Its not easy to hit the guy face who is 6' 9" tall.

    On the mental health point
Fury is being kept busy with regular fights to stop him having mental health issues and relapsing.

How is he going to react to not being to fight for atleast 6 months?

Given how bad that cut is yes it could easily open again especially if he tries to rush back with a tough fight and gets clipped there.

So he faces issues with both the cut and mental health

They aren't worried, so you shouldn't be.

50 stitches, a nice clean cut that heals well. That is the report.

When a fighter gets cut, there is scar tissue, and yes, scar tissue opens back up. It just comes with the game. But he will certainly be able to beat Wilder, who does not have the skills to capitalize.

Beyond that...Joshua would be the same as Wilder, not capable of capitalizing. Ruiz has the fast hands, but I think given the size differance, an argument can be made that Fury is so much bigger that Ruiz won't touch him. Most likely first gefense is Joseph Parker--again, not a versitle boxer capable of capitalizing.

I think if Fury is in shape, he is safe until the Hrgovic-Yoko-Joyce generation is on deck. By then, he will probably want out anyway.

Close the cut....skin graft perhaps and put some honey over it. You wont even tell he had a cut in a few months time.

On a serious note....honey is awesome for cuts and open wounds. It kills bacteria and helps heal the skin extremely quickly.

Fury is not 6ft 9. Wallin is 6ft 5 and was taller than Fury.

You’re saying Wallin was taller than Fury?

    Am I reading that right?

It's used in the UK to treat diabetic foot ulcers and literal gangrenous wounds by our NHS. Which is somewhat ironic given too much sugar is one of the aetiologies for diabetes in the first place.

Fury will still get a nice fat $$$ Purse for the Wilder Re-Match and another cut may save him from getting KTFO Cold!! Just a few Beyoncé jabs will open the cut and the referee will stop the fight or the Ringside Doctor will... Then Fury can return to the Cherry Picker Cab Driver Circus but make sure his team is more careful in the Cherry Pickin' Process to keep it to the Swartz Level Cab Drivers and avoid the higher level Cabbies like Wallin!! Fury got 1+ Million for the Wallin fight which was supposed to be a Gravy Train Cake Walk!!

I think Wilder was his last big performance. Poor mental health and questionable physical health, a guy like that only has so many big nights in him

Not the cut itself, I think. But, if the cut forces him into some period of inactivity and then, if Fury gets bored or even depressed again, he might return to his old "ways"...
