This. My football coach was good friends with both Lou Duva and Marciano going back to his army days and was even in Marciano’s camp for his fight with Cockell and told me Marciano was only 5’9”. Even my coach’s son, who just recently passed also knew Marciano and attended pretty much all of Marciano’s fights in Rhode Island used to joke about how short Marciano was, but would also talk about how Marciano thrived under pressure.

Mike Tyson and Joe Frazier were also two guys that aren’t over 5’9”, but were usually listed at 5’11” and sometimes Joe was even listed a 6’0”, which was laughable.

I used to see coaches regularly add 2-3 inches to their players when I used to recruit both high school and college basketball players. Unfortunately boxing promoters and managers do the same thing. The trick was to take the players height in thick soled shoes and then add and inch or two, so you could make a 6’6” player a 6’8” player on paper or a 5’9” to 5’10” a 6’0” player on a paper.

 

You forgot that Bob was Marciano sparing partner for long time

He isn't mentioned in the 3 books I have on Marciano.Which fights do you say he was a sparring partner for?
What is the name of the movie about Satterfield? I've never heard of it. Do you mean Ressurecting the Champ the film about the guy who impersonated Satterfield?

Wallcot was big guy same size as Liston you can see him standing with Liston in his fight with Ali
Wallcot looked huge with huge biceps even bigger than Liston
Rocky fought Luis and he was big as Liston and knocked few guys with same size
Reach is nothing and weight also
185lbs Cooper with short reach knocked Ali
190lbs bum Marshall knocked Liston and broked his jaw
Also Keene Simmons who fought both Rocky Marciano and Cleveland big cat Williams said Rocky hit harder in an interview with Ring Magazine

Williams broke Sonny's nose ,he did not damage his ribs.
Walcott was not the same size as Liston
